 Poor connection speeds. Don't buy this one. May 1, 2010
I purchased this modem because it was mac compatible. Unfortunately the best it would connect was at 21.6, and most of the time it would only connect at 19.9. It was very easy to install in both mac and pc but the speed is ridiculous. I do not recommend this. product. Look elsewhere.
 Fax Modem doesn't work under Vista November 30, 2009

This works just great and I get maximum KBPS on dialup when I connect using XP Pro. However, I can't get it to work under Vista (I've tried both 32-bit and 64-bit). and the box it came in said it was Vista compatible. There must be some magic undocumented setting......

Don't buy this junk unless you like max speeds of 28K. Tech support are jokers. Returned it and got the USRobotics, which works fine.

Bought this for my Mac since I didn't want to pay $50 for a modem. It's great. The manufacturer has both windows and Mac drivers. The drivers work. I use it to send faxes from my Mac. I haven't used it for internet purposes. Of course the drivers for Windows also work.
