Good but not great. September 7, 2010 I haven't used it long yet. It is great that I can snap pictures all day and not have to worry about deleting pics to fit more. I have 2 of these. I also have an 8 GB Class 6 that transfers files faster than this. This really doesn't become a problem since my camera can do 8 frame bursts locally before transferring to the card. But it does take longer between bursts that with my 8 GB. If you are trying to get 4fps transfer rates this isn't the card for you. You will have to spend some serious money. But for 90% of you this card will be fine.
Order canceled September 2, 2010 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This price for "Class 10" is too good to be true, and in fact the merchant canceled this order a couple days after it was placed.
My card is junk September 2, 2010 Despite formatting the card several times, the card will not record video on my Canon T2i. Half of the photos have large blocks of noise. SanDisk class 6, 8 GB cards, perform flawlessly. Obvious instance of poor quality control.
Works great on my Sony Camcorder August 31, 2010 I got this for my Sony Camcoder CX110 and works fine. I was concerned becaise of a low price but item works as promised. I have not tried to test speed etc. but this is for kid's videos and some pictures and speed is great for that work.
great price! August 24, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
just got this card today and tried copy files onto this card and copy back to my mac and check what the speed is. i was very curious since this card is $5 difference from class6 of the same brand. i also have transcend class6 card, so i compared the result. class10: write 13.5mb/sec, read 18.5mb/sec class6: write 8.5mb/sec, read 15mb/sec
on wiki says [Class6: 48Mbit/s (6MB/s)][Class10: 80Mbit/s (10MB/s)], so it's about right. the reason i got class6 card 1st was there was 2,500 review whereas 35 on class10 card, so i was not sure getting this one. took 100s of pictures today and seems working fine. still there's faster card like sundisk 30mb/s which probably ideal for more heavy video shooting, but even my class6 card can use it to record fullHD video from my canon t2i no problem so far. only problem i would say is many canon camcorder 2009 model or older doesn't recognize class10 and see it like class4 card or something low, and doesn't let you record FullHD mode. canon doesn't seem bother updating firmware for those old models, so if you are getting one on sale or used, make sure the compatibility of the card. anyway, other review saying this card is slow is not ture. it is standard class10 speed
