does what its paid to do! September 6, 2010 bought this to transfer files among several computers and it does just that very well. can't complain, no set-up, registration or any paperwork; worked great right from the get go.
Snappy little data drive September 5, 2010 The Kingston DataTraveler 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive is a snappy little data flash drive that easily fits in your pocket, laptop case or camera bag. It is very efficient on data transfer and convenient for taking your data files with you. I received this product from Amazon in short order via the mail and I am overall very happy with it.
OK speed August 31, 2010 This Kingston DataTraveler is a good "on the go" solution for anyone how needs to transfer files from computer to computer. The transfer rate of this flash drive is not very impressive when you transfer large files, but that is for the price.
OK for the price paid. August 29, 2010 This stick is a little cumbersome to open and close the protective cover. Seems to be a little slow to download to compared to others that I have. All in all, for the money paid it is an acceptable unit.
Unreliable Junk after 2 months July 2, 2010 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I brought this stick on 4-17-10 and I thought it was a wonderful stick and reliable until now. Recently, I lost important document files (at least 20 files) since windows report the files I requested as corrupted. I tried formatting the stick. After the format, the stick worked OK, but 1 week later, it corrupted more files. What a piece of garbage. Amazon shows that my return window has expired. I lost my files and money with this junk. Be careful, this works well in the beginning, but after a couple of month it goes into garbage mode. I trusted Kingston for my valuable files, but now I will look for another manufacturer with better storage reliability. Well Kingston, enjoy the money that you stole.
