 Terrible Return Policy September 4, 2010
Make sure you will not need to return the product. Price $5, Shipping $5, if I wanted to return - shipping non-refundable + 20% restock fee (product in original packaging). Otherwise, out of 2 purchased products total $20, I was going to get a refund of less than $8............
Rip off if you need to return.......
 problems installing August 6, 2010
I had started a review that was totally unfavorable to this product. Could not get it to install. The instructions (ha!) left everything to be desired. I finally found their web-site, but not because it's listed on the packaging, and found no help at all. I was ready to get a RMA number. But before submitting the bad review I had started I wanted to make sure I'd done everything possible to install the thing.
MS update had a driver listed that never would install. I had tried the "I'll select which driver to install option" more than once (only 2 choices), but the last time it finally worked! The MS "ITE - other hardware - UMass Storage Device (1336)" is not the right driver for the device. Even though MS update wanted me to use it for the device.
I went into the BIOS to see if there were some changes I needed to make and actually there was a change I could make for the Sansa and this USB device to increase their transfer speed. I was really surprised to find this because I'd been in there after hooking up the Sansa. Guess I missed it the first time 'round.
I've spent 2.5 hours trying to get this thing to work. Now that it does I have no complaints. I don't remember ever having so much trouble getting something so simple installed in XP.
Reads my 16gb microsdhc cards I'll be using in my Sansa e270 v1 with Rockbox. Now that I have the usb mass storage device installed it's time to rip some old cd's and put my designs on my other 16gb chip for safety and unsuspecting victims I want to show them to. Finally I see some joy coming my way.
If I hadn't had so much trouble getting this to work I probably would have given it 5 stars.

this came two days before estimated delivery, is a really great value, works perfectly for transferring info between the computer and my cell phone, it is packaged with great care, and my favorite it came in an easy to open package. i absolutely hate getting scissors out to cut open the packaging when i buy stuff at electronic stores.

I had purchased a micro SD memory card for my Sony Ericson phone, and this lets me transfer what I record easily to and from my computer to phone. Nice product. Bonus that they gave it to me for free; shipping was under $4.
