Very stable September 6, 2010 I have been using the memories on my mac book pro for almost two moths with o problems, very stable, and it really boosts your pc performance. Very cheap in comparison with apple store prices. I recommend this product.
Kingston works on Macs! September 5, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The "Geniuses" at the Apple Store are sometimes reluctant to mention anything that isn't apple, but I had a good rep in the store that told me to look and compare aftermarket memory to upgrade my MacBook Pro 17" (mid-2010). He gave me all the specs, and even recommended Kingston (well known name) and this memory matched 100%. Even so, I was a little worried about purchasing it but all those worries went away when my Mac started up just fine. I've been enjoying 8 gigs of ram for a fraction of the cost that Apple puts on their own name brand memory.
If you've never upgraded your own memory on a Mac before, a few tips: Get yourself a Mac Repair Tool Set from powerbookmedic [dot] com. It was only $13 but made it easy to get the screws off the case. Also, when you have the screws all off and are having difficulty getting the case off - BE CAREFUL. You're not going to break anything but while trying to pop the case open I sliced my fingers on the sharp edge of the case while lifting it off.

I installed this 4gig kit on my late 2008 Macbook unibody. So far so good.
8G RAM for i7 Macbook Pro August 22, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The RAM was delivered in 3 working days to Australia. Put it in the new MBP, and has worked a treat. I highly recommend this Ram for any Mac Book Pro running i7.
