Corsair Memory rocks! July 25, 2010 I ordered the Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C5C 4GB memory because of past experience with Corsair memory. It installed without a hitch, booted just fine and is working like a top. I installed the memory in a Dell XPS410 with Windows 7 Home 64 bit. I am probably going to get another 4GB to max out at 8GB. Amazon also rocks at supplying my needs.
Ram Memory July 25, 2010 Everything worked out of the box. also, package was delivered as stated when it was ordered. Nothing can be added.
Product recommended
Exactly as advertised June 17, 2010 My only suggestion (not even a complaint) is that companies who sell quantities of RAM larger than 4GB make it much more clear to the consumers that they need to be running 64-bit Windows OS, because if they aren't, the memory will not be accessible. I had to reinstall my entire system, and I realize this is ENTIRELY my own fault. However, knowing that ahead of time, I probably would have waited until I had more spare time to make that OS change before purchasing the memory.
I'm very happy with the product, as well as the prompt delivery, and I gladly recommend this!
4GB of awesum June 10, 2010 Well, it works great for me. Stuck them in and got (about) 4 more GB of RAM. I guess I should note that I was replacing a broken 2GB RAM stick that should be the same model, but from a different vendor. On a side note, can I request a RAM installation interface does doesn't have that slight feeling of I'm-breaking-my-motherboard.
Problem memory June 1, 2010 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The memory is providing periodic problems. I purchased 4GB of memory and the new memory doesn't behave as expected providing periodic memory failures. The original 2GB Corsair memory worked perfectly.
