J-R0CK Short Review June 1, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not going to write much as there are plenty reviews that are long enough. I bought my first set in December 2009 and a second set in May 2010...five months later and both set work perfectly fine! No issues whatsoever in my setup. No bad sticks...rock solid in all my benchmarks.
Any questions? Feel free to ask in the comments section!

it Corsair memory May 10, 2010 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is solid ram. I used to have problem with OCZ gold ram, which I was not able to overclock the ram at the specified frequency no matter what voltage I adjusted, so I decied to return the cheap OCZ ram. I am so glad that I choose to go with corsair ram, no hassle at all, I used i7 930 and asus p6x58d premium to overclock the ram to 1900+mhz without using any profiles.
Built Like a Tank May 4, 2010 I bought 12 gigs (six sticks) of this memory for my classified mainboard and it works as advertised. Fast, cool, and seemingly indestructible.
There was no doubt April 22, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read the reviews and checked with ASUS. In the end, there was no doubt and so I am extremely happy with this.
First off, for those that don't know, check the latency. The lower the better. An 8-8-8 is better than a 9-9-9. With that in mind, Corsair also offers a 7-7-7 that is cheaper, so why did I go with this one? Because I have an ASUS P6X58D Premium motherboard and when I went to the ASUS web site and checked, this TR3X6G1600C8D was on their approval list but the TR3X6G1600C7D was not. There are some other 7-7-7 on the list from other brands but the reviews were not as good when it comes to product quality. Why risk poor quality for a very small increase in performance? I decided to go with this kit so I know I am getting good performance and quality.
The one word of caution is that ASUS did not recommend using six of these in their motherboard (although they do say you can use four). I was not planning to put six (or even four) modules, anyway because I do not know of any program I run that can take advantage of the extra memory.
Dependable easily overclocked gaming ram March 24, 2010 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I overclocked the memory to 2000mhz ran it with an overclocked 4.0Ghz core i7 920 processor and dual radeon HD5770s. All of this in an antec 1200 case. The cpu never gets above 45 degrees even under max load, the memory is cool to the touch and dissapates heat very well due to the corsair memory heatsinks. This is a good kit at a pretty good price. Corsair always has been and always will be an excellent company. They also have very good customer service incase anything ever does go bad. I purchased these with the optional dual fan memory cooler but honestly, it doesn't need it.
