Product Description Nothing goes better with digital media than an external reader for your desktop or laptop at home or on the road. Kingston's Media Reader opens a direct gateway between your digital media and a USB port by simply using expandable storage cards to move photos, music, data and more between devices and eliminating the need to carry cables to connect multiple devices.st plug and play the reader into the USB port using the ample three-foot USB cable to conveniently connect to your desktop or tower computer.Kingston's Media Reader is the ideal companion for the cards you already own or combine it with a purchase from Kingston's range of Flash card solutions.

does what it's made to do March 10, 2010 No complaints here. This item functions as intended. It's fast at uploading photos from my CF card, and I like that it has other options so I can get photos from a friend off their SD or miniSD card. I really like the retractable feature (I feel like it keeps the contacts in good shape to be able to pull them into the unit), though using it feels a bit flimsy (pressing the button and pulling in the unit feels kind of like something's going to break, but nothing has). I also like that, though a longer USB cable is included, the default setup is a tiny cable even shorter than the USB input, which makes me feel more secure about it staying near my laptop and not getting dragged around by a pet or kid.
so far so good March 9, 2010 so far so good. I've used memory stick pro and SD cards and they worked perfectly.
A little Flash! March 6, 2010 I bought it because it supports 19 card types, including SD, MMC and CF formats. It was easy to set up and use. It made a great Christmas gift.
Easy and Works March 3, 2010 I needed a multicard reader that handles SDHC and this fine product did. I would reccomend it to family and frineds.
Memory Card Reader February 25, 2010 Very easy to connect and use, it is all menu driven. Although the attached cord is very short, it comes with a USB extension so everything that is required is available right out of the box.
