They were not not compatible with my Biostar motherboards June 1, 2010
As someone said in one of these reviews: "What can you say about memory? It works or it doesn't."
Well, in my case they didn't work. But I must be honest and say I made a mistake not to have had a look in Biostar website before ordering. We have two PC's at home with both Biostar P4M800ProM7 motherboards and I ordered 4 memories to upgrade both computers up to their maximum memory of 2 Gb each one. Once installed by pairs in each PC by the technician to get the maximum of 2 Gb, only 1 Gb was recognized in each machine and still worst, they began to work slower than before installation of the memories. So he took them out and put again the old 2 pairs of 512 Mb in each PC and they work normally. Iwas frustrated to upgrade them :-(
Then I looked at Biostar website for this motherboard and realized they were not in the list of compatible memories for it. There are only 4 brands of compatible memories but I haven't been able to find them in Amazon. I gave it four stars because this a well known brand and surely they work nice in other computers but I think memories should be all standard and work in all motherboards.

What can you say about memory? It works or it doesn't. The Kingston products seem to work as advertised and their lifetime warranty is excellent.
